TERMS OF SERVICE

Terms of service

These terms apply when you use UserBus. They cover your account, what you may submit, who owns the output, how payment works, and what happens if an account is suspended.

Last updated 17 September 2026.

01 / THE SERVICE

The service.

What UserBus is, and how you get in.

UserBus is a marketplace for AI generation. You submit a generation request, an independent provider supplies the compute that runs it, and UserBus matches the job, verifies the result and settles payment for it.

Access is invite-only. An operator invitation is required before an account is created.

We make no promise about how often the service is reachable, and we publish no service level target. A job is charged as described in the payment section below.

02 / YOUR ACCOUNT

Your account.

Who answers for an account.

  • You are responsible for the activity on your account.
  • Keep your sign-in details secure, and tell us at support@userbus.com if you believe someone else has access to your account.
  • Your account is for you. Do not share it or hand it to anyone else.

03 / ACCEPTABLE USE

Acceptable use.

What the service may not be used for.

  • Do not submit content that is illegal.
  • Do not submit content that sexualises minors.
  • Do not impersonate a person or an organisation.
  • Do not try to bypass authentication, quotas, rate limits or billing.
  • Do not probe, overload or disrupt the service, or any system that is not yours.
  • Do not submit content that you have no right to submit.

An account that breaks this section may be suspended under the suspension section below.

04 / OWNERSHIP

Your content and ownership.

Who owns a prompt and an output.

  • You own the prompts you submit and the outputs you generate. Nothing in these terms moves that ownership to UserBus.
  • You grant UserBus the licence it needs to run the service for you: to send a job to a worker, to store the artifact in your account and to deliver it back to you. That licence ends when you delete the content.
  • You are responsible for the content you submit and for how you use an output.

05 / PAYMENT

Payment.

What you pay for, and what you do not.

  • The price of a job is the price shown in the quote you accept before the job runs. We charge no other amount for that job.
  • You are charged only for a successful delivery.
  • If a job fails, or if you cancel it, the charge is refunded in full, automatically.
  • If a job reuses a cached result, we do not charge for it.
  • Stripe processes the payment. Card details go to Stripe and never reach UserBus.

06 / SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION

Suspension and termination.

How an account ends, in either direction.

  • We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if an account is used for fraud, if we must for security, or if the law requires it. Where we can, we tell you which of those reasons applies.
  • You can end your account at any time by writing to support@userbus.com.
  • You can ask us to delete an account and its artifacts: the privacy policy explains how, and who to write to.
  • Charges for jobs that were delivered before the account ended remain due.

07 / LIABILITY

The limits of our liability.

How far our responsibility reaches.

  • We do not limit liability that the law does not allow us to limit, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or liability for fraud.
  • Beyond that, our total liability for a job is limited to the amount you paid for that job.
  • We are not liable for indirect loss, such as lost profit or lost business.
  • The service comes with the commitments set out in these terms, and with no others.

08 / CHANGES

Changes to these terms.

How a change becomes visible.

We may change these terms. When we do, we publish the date of the change on this page. A change applies to the jobs you submit after the date we publish it.

09 / CONTACT

How to contact us.

Questions about these terms.

Write to support@userbus.com about these terms, about your account or about a job.
